2025 marks the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth as well as the 50th anniversary of Alberta Burke’s bequest to Goucher. Commemorations and celebrations will take place at Goucher, in Baltimore, and in New York, the home of the Morgan Library & Museum, to which Alberta Burke bequeathed the Austen manuscripts she owned.
