Because of their age and delicate condition, the Jane Austen materials at Goucher College Library are not on permanent display. They are preserved in a secure, climate-controlled area within the library’s Special Collections and Archives. The collection is available for individual research appointments and classroom use.  Visitors wishing to consult materials from the Jane Austen Collection are asked to contact archives@goucher.edu or call (410) 337-6075 in advance to schedule an appointment.
